Getting Started

Welcome to SurfPad! This guide will help you get the most out of your new browser.

First Launch

When you first open SurfPad, you'll see the sidebar on the left and your first Space called "Personal". The sidebar contains your tabs, favorites, and navigation controls.

Touch & Keyboard

SurfPad works great with touch only or with a keyboard attached. Throughout this guide:

  • Tap = Touch the screen (or click with trackpad/mouse)
  • Long-press = Touch and hold for context menus
  • Swipe = Slide your finger across the screen
  • Drag = Touch, hold, and move to reorder items
  • Keyboard shortcuts = Optional but faster if you have a keyboard

Every feature can be used with touch alone. Keyboard shortcuts are shown as a bonus for power users.
