Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SurfPad ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and PrivDev regarding your use of SurfPad.

Use SurfPad on your personal iPad devices
Use SurfPad for personal and commercial purposes
Install SurfPad on multiple devices linked to your Apple ID
Access all features included with your purchase

What You Cannot Do

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Distribute, sell, or sublicense the App
Remove or modify copyright notices or proprietary markings
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

One-Time Purchase

SurfPad is a one-time purchase that includes all current features:

All features included with no in-app purchases
No subscription fees or recurring charges
Free minor updates (bug fixes, improvements, compatibility)
Family Sharing supported through Apple's system

Fair Pricing

We believe in fair, one-time pricing. You pay once and own the app. No subscriptions, no hidden costs, no feature gates.

Payment and Refunds

Payment Processing

Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Your payment information is handled securely by Apple and is not stored by PrivDev.

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled through Apple's standard App Store refund policy. Apple typically offers refunds within 90 days of purchase.

Updates and Versioning

Minor Updates

Your SurfPad purchase includes free minor updates (e.g., v1.1, v1.2, v1.3) that include:

iPadOS compatibility updates

Fair Upgrade Policy:

Major version updates (e.g., v2.0) with significant new features may be offered as a separate purchase. You'll never be forced to upgrade, and your current version will continue to work indefinitely.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites
Websites may have their own terms of service and privacy policies
The built-in ad blocker may affect website functionality

Disclaimer of Warranties

SurfPad is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. While we strive to make the App reliable and useful, we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or available at all times.

We're not responsible for any issues caused by third-party websites

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrivDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of SurfPad.

Termination

You may stop using SurfPad at any time by simply deleting the App from your device. Your purchase remains valid for future installations.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms, though we will make reasonable efforts to contact you first.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will:

Update the "last updated" date
Provide notification through the App if changes are significant
